This morning I had to catch a plane. It was Monday, it was early in the morning, but it was late and this time was not my fault. Briefly, it's November 17th.

I texted my love and of course I forgot my mobile on the taxi.
So I had to leave without. Practically ALONE.
Alone before taking off, alone after landing, alone in the shuttle to the airport, alone in the bus, alone in the train. In the shuttle I was so terribly blue watching each passenger dealing with minimum 2 mobiles on their hands and ears that I stupidly missed that the door besides me was opening and I hardly failed to fall.
I couldn't ever imagine to feel so unease to be without this little thing in my bag. And I realized how this little thing helps me to feel so close to my love everywhere and every time I’m away.
He’s always there for me, and I lean on him, in presence and in absence. A sense of protection and fusion, which I’ve been experiencing with my parents.
This was something I was already conscious of.
But, this accident and all the misadventures I’ve been through since this morning, made me understand how this tiny, annoying, ringing thing is the substitution for my LOVE when I’m not there, and how he's so important to me in every single step of my life.

so, even if we didn't go to the northern coutries this weekend as planned, the North came to us today.

We had lunch in this Finnish restaurant:

Arno choose reindeer meat as a starter. I was in the mood of tasting, so I did it, i suspiciously tasted and I must admit it was not that bad.

My dish was more exotic, kind of sardines and other fish deliciously cooked.

I had my daily stop in a shop; Arno's lingering outside with his new toy, trying not to be involved

Then we went to one of our favourite places', where we found one of our signes.

Signes in french spells as cygnes, and that's what we also found:

Swans are so amazing, they're so peaceful, and some of them are so white and so pure, but they're pretty aggressive when you try to approach.

so we've finally watched this movie.
there's a part of sheer beauty which is soon overwhelmed by a

it took a while, but finally i got some of the stuff my parents lovely sent to me.
including a lot of food and things we left at the airport hall.

It was heavier than i expected it to be but as we suspected, we found out that some of the stuff we were eagerly waiting forwent rotten due to the quite long journey.

That was fun in same way, cause we spent the whole night sorting little fallen stars out the good golden ones.just like goldhunters.
that was a day upon stars.

so.it's been a while i havent updated here.
the new year began and we named it "deuxmilleseta".
and since then it proved to be as unpredictable as some of the things happened.

we lost then found some luggage then lost another bag because of its disappearing in a sleeping airport.
carrying with it in noland a family of shoes and precious food.
then i got the flu (after several years of immunized winters) which stucked me in cocoon for 3 long days.

that was the black moon.

i got some uber magic wands including a reflex and im trying to get more and more at my ease with it.
and we've some maps before us, some sails and some wind.

so, while the christmas tree's gonna spend its first night alone in the dark corridor, i'm completely excited about my two new friends: narciso and giacinto.
I mean it is weird, half of my life was spent in trying to figure out the meaning of their existences in Greek mithology, and now, there they come, they're gonna share their blossoming lives in my own home.

although me getting up at 2 pm, this was a way too prolific day.

it seems like everywhere we go, we find somebody who presents us with something special.
this time was a calligrapher who wrote our names in magnificent arabian letters and gave us the titles of prince and princess. that was true for some reasons and truly a charm.

then despite our carrying way too heavy shopping bags including a brand new red lantern for km, we came through the most terrific paper, a sort of danish motif (the same pattern was on a brooch i bought last year at the danish christmas market) which boosted our imagination and converted it in a quite big family of swans, 2 boxes, and a flying sherazade , i made out of nothing,

which i'm quite proud of...

If time had a remote control, i'd put tonight on pause, and this for 24 more hours....at least

After having felt oh so guilty during the whole day because of me getting more and more vain and growing insane because of clothes, and after having managed to buy no more than 2 tshirts of my dreams,
the night turned out to be the most peaceful landscape.
We started to open the winny-the-pooh advent calendar windows and ate the first moulded heart of chocolate. That followed a quest for some red origami paper we're gonna use as decoration for our christmas tree and the discover of a small shop in which a white haired papergeppetto gifted some of us with a seahorse shaped lightblue origami.

so we are still looking for the paper swans but yet we found the best tree topper ever....
